Granted though, Any of the Samurai's weapons can penetrate the Knight's Armour if they stab. I've seen Tanto's go through a car hood.

a car hood is nothing compared to tempered, ridged and curved steel plate armor, they're made to bend and tear, they're aluminum - honestly you cant even compare the two. There are specialized punches and daggers made to penetrate plate armor, and a Tanto - or any of the samurais blades - does not share the specific structural features that allow them to do that.
I would be very surprized to see any of the samurai's blades actually penetrate a knights armor, it is more advanced in terms of metallurgy than a samurai's, they could even stop bullets from early fire arms (where the term "bullet proof" originates)

Ok heres one, Ninja vs. Shaolin Monk using all and any of their traditional weapons, and no the ninja cannot kill the monk in his sleep, he can try to sneak up on the monk, but we will assume the monk knows that his enemy is out there, somewhere.

I dont know though, while the monks were, and still are, formidable, there is the problem that most of their opponents were always bandits or theives, nothing like as equally lethal to them as a ninja, im not sure they would have the right mindset to deal with them, or their tactics

the same would apply to ninja tho....monks are the kings of flash....i say that if the ninja doesnt out right kill the monk in its first attempt with a stealth kill the ninja really isnt prepared to deal with the monk in close combat.

although ninjas rarely used close combat to deal with a situation, often times to take out a target they would disguise themselves as a member of the targets dinner staff and poison their food or get on their workforce and lay some form of trap for them....in close combat i give it to the monk
